Marriner is 3!!!

I can't believe Marriner is 3!! He loved his birthday sooooo much. The next day he started crying and I asked his what was wrong. He asked "My birthday's gone?? " I said "yeah it was yesterday." He, with tears in his eyes said, "My birthday dot yost" (My birthday got lost). So sad. Brock went shopping for his birthday and boy did Marriner score big time. Everything he got, he wanted to share with Chase. He even made sure Chase got to eat a cool part of the cake(head or the tail I'm not sure which)
If you can't tell....it's a dino.

The Boys Are Back!!

I think this is the cutest picture. These boys are all 18 months apart...perfect stair steps!
It snowed when Nicole came for Nate's wedding...so the kids made the most of it.

Easter Egg Hunt!!

The kids had a great time looking for Easter eggs. Grandma and Grandpa Jensen hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt....a true success!
Chase made sure everyone had a fair amount of eggs. And only one "numbered" egg for each person.....the numbered ones got you a prize. Chase won a squirmy worm.
Marriners face would light up every time an egg was found! Ahh.....to see life through the eyes of a two year old!
Sadie loved her little basket. She would carry it around for a while and then sit down and rummage through her findings...and then stand up and carry the basket on her arm again....so cute.
"Moim, Brooke took one of moine!" That's for you Britt :)

Disney on Ice!

Brock won tickets to "Disney on Ice". Poor Sadie didn't get to come but she would have rather gone too bed...I'm sure! Even thought Marriner did say, "I yike princesses", they both liked "Cars" the best. They were near-full-sized cars driving on the ice. They moved their mouths as a recording played of the characters voices. I'd have to say it was my favorite also. Brock had a good nap but watching Chase and Marriners faces was priceless. They also did "The little mermaid", "Lion King", and "Tinkerbell".

We went to Applebees before the show and had a great time. The night started off with straw wrappers being blown in each others faces, a yummy appetizer and waaaayyy good company.

Marriner with a "torn dog"
This isn't related to Disney on Ice, but last night's conversation with Chase was cute.
Chase "Mom, my hearts not beeping"
Me (knowing he said it wrong but don't have the 'heart' to correct him) "Oh no, we better check!"
Chase "Oh now I feel it beeping" "Mom did you know that babies hearts beep really fast?"
Me "yep, i knew that"

Happy Valentines Day!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit on Valentines day. It was fun to visit. Can you see the family resemblance? Grandma and Sadie look quite a bit alike in this picture.
Yummy

Just out of reach! Now Sadie's favorite thing to do is get up on the table and bounce/dance until I come and save her from an early death!

These were soooooo good. I had fun drizzling the white chocolate on but definitely more fun eating them.

Sleepover!

Cannon and Caleb stayed the night at our house while Mary went to her great aunts funeral in Highland. It was so fun to see them and to have the kids play together. Marriner and Caleb had matching coats....and matching dimples. Isn't Caleb so darling? Chase and Cannon played so good together and Cannon was crying when he left because they were in the middle of playing "Kingdom", both equip with swords, crowns and armor. Cannon said the dinner prayer and thanked Heavenly Father for letting him play with Chase. Caleb is starting to talk and for yes he says "di" and he kept saying "purple car" "purple truck".

Sadie kept up with the boys...only getting her feelings hurt a couple of times.

Marriner and I and Sadie were shopping one day and we drove past "sportsmans warehouse". Marriner saw the elk and you can tell who won the "we don't have time to pet the elk" debate. He wanted to ride it but I had to put my hoof down on that one..ha ha. Anyway, it was fun for him and I'm sure we'll see and pet our new friend real soon. I might take a different way to Target next time!
Marriner is saying so many funny things.
Me: "Marriner, how old are you going to be for your birthday?"
Marriner: "Uh....thirty bucks"

We were outside playing on the slides the other day and there was dog poop in the sand. He says "Dat da dwossest teen i evow daw in my yife."(That's the grossest thing I ever saw in my life.)
